I thought I posted this already; but.. how will this interact with the stock 08/09 ECU/TCU based "LSD"?

Lol i like the first bit. Plus, I am not too keen on clutch noises.

It's impossible to say exactly how it will react in every situation. Going by past experience the Virtual LSD waits until it senses slip to kick in. A mechanical LSD will distribute torque to the wheels that grip before slip occurs to prevent the VLSD from kicking in.

Will it make the car faster from a stand still and will it be faster at the track and will it be more of a competitor to the M3, C63 and CTS-V?

The definitive answer is... it depends.

An LSD will make the car faster in any situation that would activate the factory VLSD. If one wheel has more traction than the other during acceleration an LSD will definitely help the car accelerate faster. Around a track you will be able to put more power down, earlier in the turn so that's where you'll see the most benefit. The rear end should also be much more predictable since the Cusco LSD is on all the time, as opposed to the unpredctable on-off nature of the VLSD. I believe the car you mention all have mechanical LSD's so, yes, this will make the IS-F more competitive with those cars.

The electronic LSD does not work from a stop where the mechanical units do, so from a dead stop the car will accelerate more predictably. Everything else is exactly as stated by Bulletproof.
