Default Got my BC's on... (too low?)

I just installed my BCR Coilovers today and I'm going for my alignment tomorrow, then to FL.

What stiffness setting do you guys usually ride on? I have both of mine on 30 and its a bit stiff...

Thanks,

Veeral

Sweet dude!

What spring rates did you go with? And did you go with the pillowball or rubber uppers?

I'm hoping to order a set soon, just wondering how the spring rates felt.

FullStiff. It's a bit rough I still need to fine my sweet spot. I think I'll bring it down to 25.

Any thoughts?

Alright. Readjusted to 20 all around and it's perfect. Just a lil softer than our stock suspension when going over bumps, but still handles great!

Yeah I wouldn't recommend full stiff for driving around on the streets, it would defintiely be a little too hard.

Glad you found your sweet spot though, enjoy them!

Shouldn't you wait longer before doing the alignment?

People were telling me to wait. Others were saying do it right away. So I went ahead and did it. I drove it about 40 miles before hand.

I have a little negative camber in the front (-2.4). Is anyone else having this problem?

Also I just got to Jacksonville FL from Atlanta. When going up my uncles driveway I heard a weird squeak/squeal. Is that normal??

Oh yeah it's going to take sometime getting use to it being low. My bumper scraped twice on the interstate. Damn FL roads!!

Weird that you are scraping your bumper on the interstate. When i dropped my car the issue was the front fender liners on the interstate; bumper was only an issue for parking lots, etc....

Its whenever I run into a large dip in the road. I may be wrong and it might be my inner fender liners... It just sounds like a scrap..

You think I should bring it up 1/2 an inch. Hopefully that will take care of my camber too...

I'll post a picture...

This was taken with my iPhone...

Here's mine on JIC's before I got it raised a bit (explained below)

I've had the car raised a bit (asked for 1/4", but i swear it looks a full 1" higher... ) since then, though. I was tired of wheel<->fender issue on my daily commute.

If you are scraping on the interstate i'd highly suggest you find somewhere (safe) to make some 'aggressive maneuvers'; lane changes, turns, etc, and make sure the problem isn't more prevalent than you think...

Mine's a Daily Driver too... I'll have to take it back and have them raise it a tad... Maybe 1/2 inch It will still look good.. I just want it to sit even with the tire...

Good luck. It takes a bit of tweaking but you'll get it right. I will probably be dropping mine down a tad again...
