It is a stand alone option. Since I ordered the car I was able to spec it without the sunroof. I rarely used the sunroof in past cars I've had so I figured I would save a few bucks. I also think it looks better without it.

Nice choice in dropping the sunroof. Like rominl said, it drops weight in the right place!
congrats on the purchase and nice comparison. Looking forward to an update once you get some more miles on her and can give an update between the 2 cars
