My order just arrived and I plan to do my interior parts. They are currently done in Neffy wrap and I need to redo them for a few reasons... I saw this 3M stuff and it seems like it's more durable and easier to work around corners.
I'll post some pics when I'm done.
I just did my interior in di-noc. The Neffy looked too shiny for me, plus all the spray adhesive was a turn-off. I recommend a heat gun to help form the contours without "pinching" the material.
^ I'd understand doing that on plastic parts, but why would you overlay fake CF vinyl on top of the super nice silver CF in our interior? To each their own, I suppose.

Just prefer fake CF black over the fake CF silver. Just too bling for me.

Agreed, I've also been thinking about covering the Silver CF - not sure what Lexus was thinking but silver CF just looks fake to me as well and prefer a black CF finish.
It's not fake silver CF. It's actual silver weaving.

err sorry...meant aluminum weaving. Well at least that's what it's supposed to be. I'd be pretty disappointed if it's silver painted over it. In any case, I still prefer that over the dark CF weave. That's what really stands out in the F interior.

To each his own...........but I think it looks lame. You guys are putting a big sticker on your car to make it appear you have carbon fiber pieces........that's called "rice," right?
It looks great it person. and yes that is snow on the ground, we had a white christmas here in Dallas. I also plan to do the mirrors and rear diffuser area to match the roof.
I've been waiting for the weather to cooperate and kinda want to wait for a few key mods before my next photoshoot.....I'm almost done with the IS_F and can then concentrate on my next project car!
