if one just want louder intake, there are a couple free mods.
disconneting the secondary intake motor will keep it open all the time and thus much louder intake even at low rpm. the down side is sometimes, there is detonation, possibly due to air/fuel mixture inbalance( maybe a reset will solve this problem). another free mod is to remove the right angle conduit of the primary intake. if one does remove the conduit, barriers needs to be made to create a real cold air intake instead of drawing in hot air.
i don't know how horse power or performance will be altered. seems to me there is no perceivable difference.

I did the quick intake mod the first day I had the car. I havent ever had detonation, but the sound is great. I was looking for something a little louder, but I guess I should be looking at the other end of my car. Still debating on exhaust, maybe for christmas if I can man up enough to buy one.
