Real Carbon Fiber Interior

Real Carbon Fiber Interior
After the Alacantara steering wheel , I continue with the interior mods. I really wanted black carbon fiber but wanted to avoid crappy overlays, so I found this guy, John Perez, on Lexus-F.com that does real Carbon Fiber wrapping of OEM pieces. I found a cheap center console and door trim pieces on eBay and give it a shot...
The result is nothing short of amazing:
The parts are very well finished, they look and feel great, there are maybe a couple of little recessed dots in the clear coat but that’s about it. Installation was very easy; none of the epoxy blocked any of the mounting points, everything snapped right back in, Lexus fit and finish.
Cost was very acceptable (actually I found it cheap for the amount of work, but I should not said that!), it took around 3 weeks of turnaround time and John updated me with pictures regularly and was not afraid to tell me when things didn’t turn out perfect (he redid two of the pieces that were not perfect after curing). John’s a great guy to work with, I will have more done.
Note the Side garnish and shifter are from Think Design.

Fabrication Pictures
As I said, John send me regular updates along the way, and I think it does show the amount and the quality of the work that goes into making theses.
1- Sanding
2- Epoxy basecoat so the Carbon Fiber fabric has something of tack on
3- Carbon Fiber Fabric application
4- More epoxy and Vaccum bagging
5- Curred and prep'd for clear coat
6- Clear coat drying
7- Finished product

What part of IL are you in? I'm originally from Naperville and would love to have you guys do my interior pieces as I really dislike the silver CF Never liked "colored" CF and hate how lexus chose this as the OEM option!
