I have seen one installed here locally and all we did was trim the side covers and slip on a little rubber gasket that they usually provide...

Same thing for me in & out of driveways...
That roof noise is interesting.. I didn't get it with my '08 IS350, but I understand why we get the flex noise with the F... (see pic below)

This provides the perfect platform for the carefully-tuned suspension and steering systems to work just as their designers intended.

They cut out room for the bar and then installed a sliced rubber gasket for finishing touches to the side panels...

POWMAX OR JOE Z... did the Tom's strut bar come with the rubber gasket for the plastic side panels for the engine bay trim?

no you have to cut the OEM plastic parts, as for rubber if you want to add some, you would have to buy it

I know that you have to cut OEM plastic engine bay cover, but I was wondering if the strut bar comes with the rubber gasket.

The GTspec front strut goes for ~ $150. Toms is $550. I don't think there is that much of a difference in performance or quality, but that price difference is alot. I was thinking about getting the GTspec, but I don't really see a point to installing it, and it blocks the engine cover. You would have to remove the bar before removing the engine cover before getting to the cables.
