Lightbulb Xenon Depot LED Lighting Package for the IS-F.. (w/pics)

Hey Guys & Gals....

This is one of the projects were I waited forever to do.

Well Finally with the help of Steve @ Xenon Depot I was able to completely swap out all the interior lighting to LED's in MY IS-F.

This included:

3 - LED 194 wedge bulbs for the front dome lights.
2 - LED 4 pod boards for the rear dome lights
^^ This is actually a packaged kit he sells just for the dome lighting.

2 - LED 194 wedge bulbs for the vanity lights
2 - LED 194 wedge bulbs for the side view mirrors
2 - LED 194 360° wedge bulbs for the front clear door lights
1 - LED Universal Board 16 pod unit (1.25"x1.25") - which I customized to fit.

Special Thanks to Steve again for allowing me to test out these new LED's for the Front & Rear interior dome lights...

PUTCO LED Lighting Dome Kit for 06+ Lexus IS Models

This application will work on all model year IS250, IS350 & IS-F's

Besides the dome lighting kit, I ordered all the other bulbs À la carte.

The new LED's are a nice Crisp & Clean ALL White output.

I like this setup very much and it looks a whole lot better than the regular oem bulbs.

Here are all the pics..

The Front & Rear Dome Light Kit includes:

Below are the ones I bought separately:

Front Dome Before:

Front Dome After:

Front Vanity Before: (^ see above for Vanity After ^)

Rear Dome Before:

Rear Dome After:

Trunk Light Before:

Trunk Light After (Universal Board 16 pod unit):

Front Doors Before:
(to be fair I had some Polarg white bulbs in these pics)

Front Doors After:
(with the 360° wedge bulbs)

Side View Mirror Before:

Side View Mirror After:

This was definitely a fun DIY project...

I just saw they have a thread up in the CL Vendor Section, so here is the link:

Enjoy,

It was used for the trunk light, with a little bit of customizing for a snug fit..

1.25" by 1.25" 16 piece unit

For those who want a simpler install I recommend the 9 piece unit which is only 1" by 1" in size.

great mod! been thinking about upgrading the lights as well. the brighter, the better....how long did it end up taking? were there any difficulties when taking out each lighting fixture?
