the led's add to the curvature of the car. nice work! best of all, its not as bunched together as the audi look.

Yeah, with the fogs it looks too busy IMHO, but without it looks great! Perhaps you can have the LEDs as your 'DRL' and when you turn on the fogs, it turns the LEDs off? My .2 cents

Took the opportunity to re-wire the fogs so now they come in indepedently of the lights!

IndISF: Actually there are only 2 colors - my camera makes it look like more. Fogs are yellow ion and the rest are all 6000k.

Default Audi poser?

Doesn't work IMHO. Keep on playin' around and maybe you'll hit on the perfect combo!

Look what I picked up

I'm going to wire this into the IS-F so it will give me independent control of the fogs or LED's at car shows without having to turn anything else on.

*sidenote, I RARELY if ever use the HID fogs. The reason the fogs look odd is because I have 6000k bulbs behind the yellow film. We all know from kindergarden that blue/yellow makes GREEN

The LED's and the rest of the lights on the car are all 6000k so they match perfectly.

very nice diy. personally, though its seen on audi's and mb's, i would like to see it flow better with the F. something distinct that isnt easily copycatted. when i first saw this thread i thought about led's surrounding the fog light itself, similar to the rear lights of the GT-R. in any case, it looks fabulous. question- do the fog lights still work or are they non functioning now with the led's in place?

^bnizzle87: See post #35, the fogs work just fine with the OEM switch. The concern I had was that you cannot turn on the fogs UNLESS the headlights are turned on.

With the custom key fob harness I have, I can now wire those to be independent of the headlights. I only drive with the DRL's and LED's during the day and at night I turn on the headlights of course

I'm not a big fan of LED's in a circle halo fashion and prefer the straight Audi type LED's.

My plan is to ultimately open up the headlights and add the LED's inside the headlights.

If you don't mind me asking, where did you get those LED DRLs from? Thanks.
