Default fuel map controller

hey
this is my post to try and help with any info on making the IS-F faster...

just recieved and intalled que FMC(fuel map controller) .. as soon as I have a chance will try and tune it and dyno and see if anything good come out of this..

here are some pics
again actual mods are Just in case
Joez intake and pts exhaust
toms filter

To install it in the glove box I had to buy the extension.. cause if not, it would have to stay in the engine bay with a plastic cover it brings.. Once installed in the Intake, I had to remove the battery and tread the cable through a little hole in the firewall and into the glove box. Then place it down with a doble sided tape that the FMC brings..
AS i have been told Stock air fuel ratio is close to 10 (way Rich) especially right after shifting. With this, I'm hoping I can bring the air fuel ration back up, close to 12 and see if it releases a few ponies. (correct me if I'm mistaken)

Anyone done this before?

I actually do not know how much power to expect..
this was about 550 bucks including the extension and shipping...

but if i get 10-12 hp mid rage or peak hp i'll be happy.... if this does not work a 50-80 nos shot will be in the works.. hjeheh

One reason OEM calculated maps are rich on acceleration and shifting is to prevent pinging form inferior fuels and for cooling. You will have to find about 10% increase in torque peak to notice any difference.

Very nice..!!!

We installed one of these on our 2010 IS350 C - SEMA Build by VIP Auto Salon Inc.

I used a thicker black wire loom to hide all the funny color wiring.. When I was done, it looked stock..

We are waiting to get one of these TOM'S units into an IS-F..

Anxoius to see the results in conjuction with the exhaust & intake.

Regards,
Joe Z
