Default Thinking About Purchasing Either of These IS-F's

I found two IS-F's that I am interested in and wanted the community's opinion on them.

#1:
2008 ISF
Black/Black
14k miles
Clear Bra
4 New Tires
Car first sold in March 2009 (meaning warranty will end a year later than usual)
$42,900
2000 miles away from where I live

#2
2008 ISF
Black/Black
20k miles
$41,000
No extras (ie new tires, clear bra)
600 miles from where I live

Both have clean carfaxes

So basically I'd have to pay for shipping on option #1 which would lets say add $1000 to make it a total $43,900.

Is #1 worth $3,000 more than #2? Thanks in advance guys!!

Some people are very sensitive to the number of miles on a used car (I'm one of them). But I don't know if $3K is enough to choose 1 over 2. You can buy yourself a nice set of wheels and a clear-bra with that!

Make sure you check out the finishes of both cars, though. No color shows imperfections like black.

2000 miles away for an F that has clear bra and new tires might seem like the better choice. both are under 20k miles, which is great. personally, id contact both sellers to see if they can 1)arrange for a test drive (yes, 2000 miles is far, but its better to see it in person before having it shipped over and run into some problems once you get it), and 2) if they can sweeten the deal a little bit. see if you can knock off maybe a grand or two off, which isnt unreasonable considering you're giving up your time to either pick up the car in person for the #2 option or even having to foot the cost of shipping for #1. all in all, take the time to see both, but for me, the first choice seems the better of the two, despite it being further away. best of luck!

thanks for the replies!

The dealer selling #1 says that $42,900 is the lowest they can go and quoted me $800 for shipping. I think I might wait another month to see if the cars are still around to try to get an even better price...if theyre gone I guess I will continue my search

Yeah don't rush to get your perfect IS F. It's just a matter of time before the right deal comes up...and locally so you can check it out in person to make the final decision.
