Which color do you guys prefer? I was able to test drive an USB the other day and it looked absolutely gorgeous under the sun. I'm worried about the car being too flashy boy racer-sh.

I've always had black cars and think they are very classy and of course always a pain to keep clean. I've only seen one black IS-F ever and almost didnt realize it was an ISF until I got closer and saw the quad pipes. Does the black hide the lines of the ISF too much? Anyone have pics of the two colors side by side?


Do you guys who have USB or Obsidian ever wish you went with a different color? If so, why?

 

i have to agree the color black makes it the hardest recognize the ISF...

and USB does provide the most flash...

though obsidian makes it much harder to see if its a regular is or an F, it keeps its lines and the curves of the body structure nicely. i love my black F, and yes- it sucks with all the dust and microscopic swirls it obtains, but when i wash and wax and then detail....nothing beats a black car at that point. the USB is the F's marquee color and it stands out really nicely; unfortunately, cops like the cars that stick out on the road too. overall, both colors are great. it just depends what selection is available and what your preferences are.

driving around so cal, ive seen two USB IS F's, whereas in obsidian, ive only seen one other besides mine.

 

man I feel like whichever color I decided on getting...I will want the other...maybe I'll go with the one which is the better deal

 

go with the blue,,, I wish they had the blue when I picked up mines, blue is such a rare color for the F....

 

It's purely personal, and I'm sure there are plenty to disagree, but I don't like the wheel color / USB combo nearly as much as I do with anything in the B/W range from my fav white to silver and grey to black... so, with your two choices, my pref would be black.

It can be tough to choose, but keep in mind you'll be happy with either one every time you crank it

 

I love black but absolutely hate keeping them clean. After my black IS-350 I vowed to never ever own another black vehicle. I drove it in the rain once and then the sun baked on it and I had to use rubbing compound to get out the water spots. I now have the USB F and although I rarely drive it when it's raining but in the rare occasion I get caught out and it rains it does clean right up. I do love the USB in the F more so than the black. Just jumps out more. Lexus hit a home run with this color on the F.

as much as i love dark coloured cars after a good detail...ultrasonic blue is the best colour everrrr for the IS F. and i have a SGM.

I would go for Ultrasonic Blue, just pops out so much more in my opinion...
