NEW 2008 IS-F availability
To all those looking to purchase an IS-F, it is my understanding that Lexus of Valencia and Motor City Lexus in Bakersfield each have one new 2008 model. If I am not mistaken they are both black. I purchased mine 2 weeks ago from Bakersfield for 48k but mine is mercury metallic. Both dealerships were eager to sell at or below 47k since they said the black color has gotten the least attention. But I refused and stuck with my first color of choice.
PM me if you have any questions as I have the contact info for the sales manager @ Bakersfield because the dumb/greedy salesman still like to play hardball on the 08 model. BTW it was also the sales manager in Valencia who quoted me below 47k for the last 08 model on their lot.
PS- I am not associated/affiliated with neither dealerships. Just thought I'd help someone out.

^^^Thats right. Since I got mine from Bakersfield it had dirt in every angle. However the dealer did an ok job in cleaning most of it off. This might explain why both of my headlamps had oxidation on them, but the issue is now being resolved.

i asked one of my buddies at the lexus of glendale about whether they receive shipment of the 08 and even 09 models, considering they're due for the 10 shipment soon. he said that because some dealerships arent able to sell their older model F's, that other dealers can place an order and have them shipped that a particular lexus dealership. not sure how the commission works at that point, but from what i've heard there arent too many 09's available, and much less for an 08.
btw, 44k for an '08 F that is brand new (probably 5-15 miles for test drives and such) is a steal. those who can get it for 46k would still be getting a bargain.
