Do you mean you can sell the spool alone for $2,850 and the whole diff for $3,100?

I think we've seen those prices before in the other LSD thread. What is unique about your offering?

IMHO I don't think lexus gave a )(*! about how this car runs in the 1/4, 1/8, etc.

Pushing 500HP/TQ at the wheels transforms this car into an unbelievable machine.. but if all everyone is looking for is 1/4 mile times, I don't think they're going to be satisfied. Just my $0.02

Can anyone confirm if this will bolt into the other IS models as well?

The 08-09 differential is a FD21A. This differential has a conical spring that applies pressure to the sliding area of the side gear to help engage both wheels at once.

The 2010 has the FD21AT which is a torsen limited slip. From what I can tell that differential should bolt directly into the 08-09, either as the carrier internally or as the whole assembly.

The carrier it self is lists for $3,932.63
The entire differential assembly lists for 4,313.07

What do you guys think is it worth it to you as the customer for me to look into getting them?
It may be worth the change, provided it will fit, if a ring and pinion swap to a steeper ratio is possible, Andy. Perhaps in the region of 4:1.
Would there be any undue issues with such a swap? (besides slightly worse gas mileage?)

We do need a set of rear end gears!!! If we could get a 373 or a little lower our cars would be great down low but would fall off up top. You might need to use all 8 gears to hit 170

You wouldn't want to put an IS-F differential into an IS350..

There are other aftermarket companies that offer LSD's for the IS350.
TOM's comes at the top of my mind..

There are at least 2 IS-F's that I know of where the dealership tech installed and IS350 differential into the IS-F..

It was a direct fit and basically helps out of the hole shot, but RPMs are raised at the higher crusing speeds. So MPG's would suffer as well...

The IS-F case is identical to the IS350 case. If you wanted to swap spools, there's nothing in the documentation saying it definitely won't work. It would probably be possible to swap ratios too if you wanted, but that's significantly more work and definitely not for the junior tuner.

The IS-F case has cooling vanes compared to the IS350 which has none on the underside..

Size of case is the same.. I agree
