Can't order 2009 wheels
I was at the dealer today and was told the 2009 wheels are not an option
for the 2010s. Does anyone know if that's true? I think my dealer doesn't know.

to be honest, that's what i figured. to keep the exclusivity of the original 08-09 rims, lexus would do the wheel design change. i asked my local lexus dealership about this, and the general manager who has ties to japan lexus said that there probably will be a greater demand for the original rims because some who purchase the 10 F might not want to deal with the cleaning and such. i guess that means that those who want the 10 F will have to look for classified for sellers of the original bbs rims. im not sure if they will be offered as an option, but thats what ive heard so far. if anyone else has heard otherwise, please let us know.

OK, to set the record straight, once again. The wheel design has been changed for the 2010 US model ISF. Though there were rumors before the new model introduction that the old wheel design would be an option, such is not the case. Therefore, the old wheel is not an option in the US. However, Lexus of Canada chose to retain the old wheel design (complete with the polished section that the Canadian F has always had). The new wheel is not an option in Canada.
Therefore - US 2010 F buyers always get the new design wheel and Canadian 2010 F buyers always get the older design wheel, unless the buyer works something out with the dealer.

Good & Accurate info Lou!!
In Japan, they have the option to choose either old or new design when ordering an F.
- Complete with the polished section that the JP Spec F has always had, on the old desgin wheels.
