Slotted rotors are going to hold up better under the same conditions provided the rotors are of the same quality.
The quote and link below is from Stoptech's site.
http://www.stoptech.com/tech_info/wp...lections.shtml
DRILLED VS SLOTTED ROTORS
For many years most racing rotors were drilled. There were two reasons - the holes gave the "fireband" boundary layer of gasses and particulate matter someplace to go and the edges of the holes gave the pad a better "bite".
Unfortunately the drilled holes also reduced the thermal capacity of the discs and served as very effective "stress raisers" significantly decreasing disc life. Improvements in friction materials have pretty much made the drilled rotor a thing of the past in racing. Most racing rotors currently feature a series of tangential slots or channels that serve the same purpose without the attendant disadvantages.

I was just wondering is there anything special about project mu? I mean just re-thinking about the price of the pads it is basically $500 for pads! I know yea its for a ISF, but these brands are like the cost of OEM, not close like other aftermarket pads like carbotech.
You can buy cheaper pads that may have some of the attributes above, but none that I know of that possess all of the above. If you can compromise on one or a few of the things listed above you can save yourself some money and time and get one of the other options available.
I prefer to buy parts that fit and perform close to or above OEM standards. Everyone has a different priority and budget and that's where the other pads come in. Choose accordingly.

^^ Nice.... Did you see if the 4 front pads are notched for an "e sensor"??
A photo showing the top side of those pads, would answer it quickly.
Also, be sure to get some good anti-squeal...
When I did mine, I ordered the OEM Brembo tubes from Lexus.. Part # 90998-94072
Comes with two small tubes.

See below from my install in January and let me know if your pads look the same.
All 4 fronts will be notched out or should be like mine.. Unless that stopped doing that to them..
