the lfa has the same whistle sound and we know it's not turboed, maybe something special with the f engines? I'm still waiting for an answer to some questions posted already:
1. Did you have to drop the engine to install the headers?
2. How did you manage to avoid the cel?
3. Hp and tq gains?
4. Pictures of your engine bay, shots from under the car, and pictures of the headers before installation.
5. Price?

All it took was a phone call. I called JE Imports and got a little info. Now this should be legit unless JE Imports is a fake company that the OP made up in some elaborate prank on all of us here to include website, a phone book listing, google listing, and employees that answer the phone and are in on the prank.
Here is what I was told. This is a product designed mainly by Sikky with help from JE Imports. The headers are in the final test phase (long term road test approx. 500 miles) to make sure no problems arise. Sikky will not allow anyone to release Dyno numbers or price until all fab and testing is complete. They are hoping that the weather lets up enough for the car to be driven. Once the miles are on the headers JE Imports will check the fittment again to make sure there are no new issues, then they will re-dyno the car and set the final price. They will post the dyno numbers/pics/etc. when complete on their website.

That info is correct. They don't want me relasing info until testing is done. I can respect the company for that. The motor does need to be dropped it is an extremely tight fit. I'm not boosting. All motor baby!!!!! The F just sounds nasty when opened up. Once I'm done testing I'll let everyone know all the info I obtain. Testing is currently set back though due to the 30 inches of snow everwhere and the 10 to 20 more we are suppose to get today into tomorrow .

This particular BlowOff like Sound on the Lexus V8's is something special. I got the same Noise as i removed all catalytic converters (replaced the primaries with SARD HighFlow Cats) on my SC430 combined with an open Intake...
Looking forward to the final results of the ex-manifolds !!!
The SC430 gained around 28 RWHP, so i suppose the gains of our 5l V8 will be higher (depense on the header design, etc.), somewhere in the 40ths !!!
Combined with Intake, Exhaust and Headers the F should be good for a 400 RWHP... YES !!!
regards
marcus

Sounds pretty sick Jason!!!
The PTS/Joe Z exhaust really wakes up with the open headers...
Gain wait to see the gains from just the headers to compared to the gains with the headers and Full True Dual Exhaust combo..
Regards
Joe Z

As of yet no. But I haven't been able to drive it since before all the snow. There are about 100 miles on it right now. So too early to tell but I have high hopes.

It has to suck having a new mod on the car right now. The snow would be killing me because whenever i get a new mod i just have to test it out
