What might we see for 2011 IS-F?

i read somewhere that the next gen IS will be out fall of 2010 as 2011 model. the ISF and IS-C are not likely to be touched at all at that time. Lexus is following BMW in terms of model upgrades. the regular ones gets udated first, then the high performance and the convertible.the earliest the ISF will be updated to the next gen IS body style will likely be 2012 or 2013 and the convertible will follow in a year or two.

when the IS F first came out, i thought it would look great with both the integrated side mirror turn signal and auto fold, but now that ive had it for two years now, i dont think lexus will add either. ive seen one USB IS F with the side turn mirrors, and definitely looked good. im not sure, but isnt the LS the only one with folding side mirrors? i hardly see anyone use it besides the BMW's i see on the lot.

Yes, folding mirrors would be a huge plus for me. Also they need to fix the problem with the fact you can't lock your car while it is running. It gets cold enough here that I want to be able to get all warmed up before driving it around. I did call Lexus and they said that it wasn't an option and if someone jumped it in they could drive it forever unless they shut it off then they need the key to start it. To me this is the biggest problem. I guess with that to I like how the BMWs have the manual gear change on the floor with back being a gear up and forward a gear down. Just make since to me if i'm slowing down my body is going forward therefore downshifting should be going on and if i'm on the gas i'm pushed back in the set grabbing for gears. The seats would be nice if it had side squeezers... haha sorry for my tech talk. Also... USB port with a hard drive would be nice too.

^^I've been too used to the + forward and - rear shiffing gears..
The Japanese sorta make it more logical.. Downward for downshifting and Upward for upshifting...
I've been driving the IS line since 2000, so its perfectly normal for me..
Gate shifting is fun, put the paddles are better
Also, in other non US spec markets.. The IS's get power folding side mirrors...
Still don't know why we don't get it here in the USA..
The side blinkers integrated into the side mirros are a more luxury item, than performance.
This is one of the reasons why you don't see them move over into the IS-F when compared to an 09+ ISx50
If we are lucky.. we just might see a 2011 IS-FC

I am curious to see what they have planned. I am planning on buying a 2010 ISF this summer. I may hold out a little longer to see what they have planned for the IS line in 2011.
