What might we see for 2011 IS-F?
Just wondering if anyone has any speculation on what Lexus may change/add to the IS-F for 2011. I am driving a loaded 2010 IS250 for the next few days while my GS430 is in the shop. I am amazed at how soft the leather is on these new Lexus's compared to my older GS. Very nice and its not even semi-aniline. Anyways, I guess I am surprised the IS-F didn't get the mirrors with turn-signals integrated or the revised tail-lights a couple years ago like the lesser IS models have. I personally would love to see power folding mirrors and HID headlights standard on all Lexus models.
Any rumors for 2011 IS-F?

I would speculate that not many changes, due to the IS line being completely redesigned for the 2011 model year. They are probably working on the new third generation ISF, I would imagine.

i bet they wont redesign it that much, its still too fashionable
for example, bmw has hardly changed the overall appearance over the years
I dont think lexus will either for a long time after that is300 change
its one of there top selling vehicles, now will not be the time for a drastic change
one mans opinion

I doubt they gonna have any changes for the IsF in 2011,, it just came out in 08,, not cost effective for the manufacture to change body that fast,, the regular Is might get a total new look though, but not the F,,, Im pretty sure the F is like the M for bmw,, 1-2 year delay for their high performance version.. and then another year delay for their convertibles.. I really wanna see how messy this gets.. 2010 IsC based on the old model,, who is gonna want a IsC when the new body style IS comes out in a year or two?? dont forget, this so called 2010 IS C is basically a body style from 2006!!

I'm hoping for revised suspension setup, thicker steering wheel, the turn signal in mirrors would be nice as mentioned before, and possibly some revised tranny algorithms on downshifts. A little HP boost would be nice as well but prob. not in the cards....

Think i read an article that the only difference is that the 2011 IS F would have the option of getting it in a convertible.

I would welcome automatic power folding side mirrors, but I've always thought that the turn signal in the mirror looks tacky. Something like PASM would be great, as mentioned previously.
Lexus has been saying no convertible IS-F for some time now. They also just announced the F-Sport 350C, too, which seems to occupy that segment.

when the IS F first came out, i thought it would look great with both the integrated side mirror turn signal and auto fold, but now that ive had it for two years now, i dont think lexus will add either. ive seen one USB IS F with the side turn mirrors, and definitely looked good. im not sure, but isnt the LS the only one with folding side mirrors? i hardly see anyone use it besides the BMW's i see on the lot.
