your car looks nice in pics! i say leave it alone before you wake up one day and see you did rice it out. no one here gives a clear description on where to draw the line on what is "rice" but i know you're near me and every civic/maxima/g35/vw/bmw have the same light mods now that we're talking about. to me, that's enough to join the rice crowd no matter what brand you choose.
Couldn't have said it better myself. Only NY residents truly know the ugly crap we gotta witness on a daily basis... Maxima's with huge fugly unpainted body kits...and non matching HID kits.

Gonna head to the dealer, have them disabled and call it a day. Clean simple...and Freash>!

Is this "plug and play" basically? Any problems installing?

Looks great!

All plug and play! If you buy the modules I'm not sure. Hardest part would be taking the covers off and the intake/washer fluid tube to access the housing.

I´m a bit confused... From the V-leds.com website:
"Do not use this bulb directly with our DRL module it may cause issues with some Lexus vehicles. Use one 9005_DRL_MODULE and one HID_RELAY_HARNESS"

So in fact you need to buy 3 items and connect together? They are not plug and play as is? Or am I misunderstanding something?

If you buy the led only then its plug and play. The kit you will need to do some wiring.

Not sure why you say Ricey and LED in the same sentence, kinda an irony isn't it?

LED's have a different color/output of light vs. filament. There is nothing RICE about it unless you overdo it but in your case, you are just swapping bulbs so what's the debate?

Either you get 5k, 6k or amber LED's but they all look the same.

Your car is already modded pretty heavily so I don't think LED's will make any difference in what people think of your car good or bad.

they lied to you, they can be turned off. I had mine done the first week with the car. I believe the newer cars actually let you turn them off yourself using the settings in the nav system. At least by loaner RX350 allows that.

Sorry for being such a novice but...

I love the look of the DRL-leds, but I am not prepared to sacrifice the high-beam. However I also hate the yellow OEM DRLs...

Does anyone have a suggestion on alternative "regular" bulbs to replace the OEM ones with to get rid of the yellowish light they emit?

You could install a pair of 2010-2011 headlights. They have the LED DRL's.
