Dang!! if only I saw the Tom's kit availability a couple weeks before getting the CF Lexon parts.

Which shop did you order the Tom's parts from? Also, please post some close up pics of the starfirepearl one with the kit.

Looks clean, but I can only imagine the tears that came out for what you paid for it.

I've been thinking about just purchasing the front lip only. I was wondering if there was a need to drill hole in the bumper in order to install Tom's front lip.

Yes you have to drill at least 5 holes: 3x (#3) underneath the OEM bumper... and 2x (#12) one on each side of the (ABS) wheel cover/fender...
Or you can just go with the 3M Tape which is also included. For security reasons and high speed runs better you have both

see attached image...

I only had issues with the 4x ABS Clips (#2): the location of the holes seems different on european models... maybe on US models too, but no problem at all. The look and build quality of the TOM's Diffusor is fantastic (price is also fantastic - haha...) !!!

kind regards
marcus

p.s. Diffusor comes with a clear varnish - no need for clear coating.

None of those holes use existing mounting locations/screws?

5 holes to drill the rest requires no drilling.

Thanks for sharing guys... this kit looks stunning! Quick question though: this is kit susceptible to fading or cracking?? my previous experiences with CF products left me a bit suspicious of the durability of such products. Is there any benefits to applying an additional layer of clear coat? thanks
