joe did a tremendous job with the exhaust system. great to see it out of the box, even greater to see its improvement on already a pretty good car with the IS F. JoeZ = FTW!

check out the meisterschaft exhaust. They make exhausts for high end cars. Its not very pricy as one would think. $1998 but I think it might only be an axle back, but reading their description on their website makes it sound like a cat back. I completely forgot about these guys or else I probably would have gave them a call and picked up their exhaust instead of the Borla. I dont regret it though. The Borla sounds awesome and the exhaust muffler has dual outlets on each side so it make it more of a true quad type exhaust. The only downside is the slip on connections, but hey I never had any problems and it makes the exhaust more wallet friendly.

I have the Borla. Shopped it against the JoeZ. Both are 2.5" mandrel bends, x-pipe, etc. The muffler outputs on the JoeZ are single, when the Borla has 2 for the quad-tips. I couldn't imagine there being much if any HP difference. Both systems are within a few pounds of eachother.
Installation of the Borla is more difficult than the JoeZ. If you plan to install it yourself on the floor of your garage, go with the JoeZ. The slip joints need some leverage to install on the Borla.
Saved myself close to $600 going with the Borla, for likely equal performance. The JoeZ is real nice, but how often does someone get on all-fours to check out your exhaust?
Sound has mellowed over the past 5 months. I'd like a louder system, personally.
