Just had a solid weekend of IS-F projects. Didn't do any of them myself though
Saturday was an unannounced visit to Aerotect to get the tails lights and rear reflectors tinted. A: They did a great job! B: They have a great product! If any of you have been thinking about getting this done through them do not hesitate. Sunday I got my Passport SRX detector installed. Went through the manual to do the appropriate programming and off to the races! I put some pics up...sorry about the quality...some were on the iPhone. As usual...all questions comments and concerns are welcome...

definitely lookin good man! i remember when francisco was doin my taillights. the whole aerotect crew was very hospitable and they do excellent work. because of the tiny crease on the corners, did they use two separate vinyl pieces? im not sure if im making sense, but theres a slight point/crease on the outer taillight on i think all IS models up till last year.

Sorry I used the wrong verbage. This is the 90% steel.
There are actually 3 pieces total. I piece for the interior portion of the tails and two for the exterior portion. I'm interested to see how they handle the heat of the desert in the summer. Francisco also did my headlights...That is a solid crew.

The radar is awesome. If you have a chance to get an SRX do it. I had a local guy do the install for me. I've never run wires from outside to inside so I figured I should let the experts do their job. It does a good job of not picking up too many false signals like alarm systems etc...Although it says it will go off for work zones and I'm not sure how it knows where they are.

oh, my bad! i thought you had work done on the headlights as well. i was thinking about optic blue for the headlights, but havent decided yet. smoke mite draw too much attention to the car, and clear is not even noticeable. yellow fogs look pretty good. i did mine in blue, even though it does nothing to the light output (just for show)
