I receive a lot of offers from Lexus but not a recall letter. I don't think the ISF is part of the problem.

I hope not, because sudden acceleration on an ISF might be a little bit different experience than on a Prius.

By now we all know how to deal with sudden acceleration if it happens in the ISF:
1. Apply brakes firmly as they will overpower the acceleration.
2. While applying brakes shut the car down. You can do it by pressing the START/STOP button for a few seconds.
3. Pull over.
4. Call Lexus.
5. Get a GT-R!

yeah the IS-F wasn't part of the recall, I was told by a service guy, its mostly the ES class i believe 2006-present, correct me if I am wrong, some IS class as well, but IS-F class was not involved

Yes I, too, get these official looking letters from Lexus alluding to important information on your car only to open them up and find advertising progaganda for buying a new car. Sick "a-wholes" in marketing... all of them.
