Thanks guys. Just figured something out that will save anyone money if they are going to go with a similar setup... Dont hit the speed limiter!!! The car will go into limp mode and then the spark plugs are gone lol. I hit it when i was in Texas and a mandatory change of spark plugs was the result. Car runs great now just heed my warning.

Im sure a backfire was the cause of it. Fact that the plugs are iridium dosent help either. I checked a few other plugs out today and they are all fine. It was only the Number One on the left bank that had gone. The excess heat generated by the backfire nearly obliterated the spark plug. Im very thankful that it was just a plug.... Its hard to notice how quick you get to 170 when a supra is putting bus lengths on you lol.
Just curious, but did hitting the limiter cause a backfire by leaving excess nitrous in the cylinder? Typically it cuts spark/fuel and when it sees spark again it will go, when I had nitrous on a mustang back in the day I blew a top of one of the pistons. You should consider yourself lucky that you only have a spark plug change to deal with.

You know this nitrous works wonders. I just installed a small .28 nozzle "dry setup" in my 335i early yesterday morning. Without any tuning whatsoever, I headed to the race track hrs after installing the system. The results are remarkable.
Without Nitrous. 11.78 best ET. 124.4 best trap speed.
60-130mph 9.07 seconds.
With Nitrous (yesterday): 11.33 @ 132.77 mph!
60-130 mph 7.95 so far, letting off during shifts!
There were so many obnoxiously loud V8s there that couldn't trap more than 120-130mph. They were sure suprised to see a quiet, unassuming BMW coupe trapping at over 132 mph!

Just to follow up...it was GREAT meeting you at TX2K10. To close the loop, the car layed down 430 rwhp SAE at TX2K10.
Also, the graph you posted below is SAE, look in the upper right hand corner. You cannot put one STD pull on the same graph as an SAE pull. I have NEVER seen SAE lower than STD, and I've personally dyno'ed 400+ cars...

This surprises me. Below is a graph of my most recent SAE run and the power is up compared to the STD. It might just be the difference in Dyno's even though both are Dynojet
Im down to dyno during the event if there is a spot for me. Ill be there all day
Good Job at the track Bro. Your car runs great times.
Just send me a pm. If the car isnt in the shop we can go for a joyride

It was great meeting you too Peter... The event was great. Kinda sucked running out of bottle for the dyno but had lots of fun.
The SAE numbers I posted up are from a different dyno than the STD. I'm going to dyno the car there again when I get a chance. I'm very interested in why my car put down 34xWhp in Texas though. I've never dynoed lower than 370whp before.
