i have madico tints rated 20%. it's dark. and the cops have always showed their meter to read 11-13%. i'm VERY happy with it, no breakdown/bubbles/discoloration/problems, on for almost one year. i also went to a reputable installer.

5% vs 10% vs 20%

is there that much difference or is it just the safest to go with 5%?

I don't want anybody to see what's in my car but I also don't want it to appear too dark from inside..

Go with Integrity. They are just East on 41st and Memorial in Tulsa, OK. They have the ceramic tint which is great! It doesn't fade and if you have any phone or HD radio inside the car it can go through it unlike the metallic tint that blocks the signal. If you pay cash it is a little cheaper and will be less than 200 for the whole car. It is is 20% and looks good.

tpms = tire pressure monitoring system. i have no idea what your tints have to do the the low air pressure in tires warning system.

Just FYI the BMW ****'s got a strong group there in OKC and it would be a great place to ask them about a local shop to tint. Go to the bimmerforums.com and look up the southwest location. There is lots of talk on tint and places to go. Really good group plus if u want to get in a good car group they are fun. My user name on their forum is ISFast.

I used llumar 50% all the way around (including front windshield). I'm happy with it. It isn't too dark, i've never had a problem with cops. (knock on wood). I'll put some pics up as soon as i get my car back from the stereo shop.. i have a new system build in the works right now.
