That was my only concern as well is the bone shaking ride but I can live with it as my everyday driver. Definitely will be joining the IS F club soon when I get back from the NYC.

I know right! I will definitely be on the boards more frequently but just tough when your car is 3,000 away and no car in NYC. Cant wait to get back and get into an IS-F

Default Follow Up

Just wanted to follow up and tell everyone that I'm really enjoying my IS-F. The ride is a little more harsh than the IS350, but it is fine. I have 1500 miles on it so far and I'm already getting used to the extra bumpiness. It's kind of hard to explain. It's more of a bounce than a jarring when you hit rough road. It must be the supportive seats. Bottom line is that I'm glad I made the trade and I'm really enjoying the car.

Congrats on the new IS-F you will never look back.

Anyone who has no money or insurance cost issues, just buy the IS-F, IMO anyone who drives the ISx50 is because they cannot afford the IS-F for one reason or another. Ride quality is certainly not a deal breaker. A simple coilover upgrade is all that's necessary.

All high performance cars ride rougher than stock, heck this is why you are spending $$$ for the "upgrade" ~ AMG, M-cars, IS-F included. I have never heard of someone saying wow "should I upgrade my Hyundai Tiburon to a Ferrari because I cannot handle the 60 mile commute due to roughness" hahaha

^ haha, good point s4play! hyundai to ferrari would be an ultimate trade up. but the F combines the luxury feel that lexus has created and simply added high performance to it. such a beautifully crafted vehicle, and im happy for IS350atWOT and the new purchase!

Congrats, nice upgrade. (It's a trade that all of us IS350 owners consider occasionally.)

Wow, double the horsepower! What's your take on the difference in ride quality, now that you've had the chance to compare...
