Can we shut off the TPMS sensor/warnings?

The tool works brilliantly and I don't have the annoying tire warning light on any longer!!!
one down side of it though is that I can only program the MAIN setting, which meant overriding the OEMs, but that's really not a big deal since the tool saved the original TPMS IDs for me and I can override them again once I go back to the winter setup.
Goodbye stealerships... you will no longer control my wheels!

So I called every tire store in town (close to a dozen places), and none can program the sensors in. Everyone told me to go the the dealer for it, and they want to charge me $180.
Given that these may not be the last set I need programed (I might get a winter setup), I'm almost convinced that my best bet at this point is buy this tool and do it myself:
