Rick..
Are the Advans TPMS compatible??
Just buy an extra set of sensors and have them added as your 2nd set into the IS-F
Found a whole brand new set on ebay for $130.. (all 4)
Plus, they really are worth having.. Saved me several times in the morning from getting on the FWY with 20lbs of air in a tire with small nail..
Also, there is no defeat or reset to shut off the sensor warnings.
Some have done those pipe things, but you would still need to have extra sensors to make. Especially, if you don't want to remove the ones from the oem wheels.

Np Rick..
Even if you buy another set.. you won't need to dismount..
Just have to squeeze the tire off bead & install sensors..
and a quick re-balance just for good measure.

i have actually always wondered, there has to be a module monitoring the whole tpms system right? where is it located? i don't have access to manuals.
reason i ask it, on the sc430, the module is very easily accessible below the radio, so by unplugging it, the warning light will go out (no other effect). i don't know if same idea can still apply on 2is/3gs. of course system could have improved, but probably something to look at

Thanks guys... I worked at a Toyota dealership for a while and still have many friends there... sounds like it's going to be an easy fix on my end
btw, I've been reading a little more about it. I bought the wheels with the sensors already mounted. Do I need to know the the tpms IDs or can they just read them with the tool?
