Default vredestein tires

was wondering if anyone is tunning these tires on thier f yet? with the stock wheels not upgraded wheels.

i ask is because if you went with the stock tire size or if you upgraded them to the 245,275's?

and if so if you could post a pics of them on your ride, to see how they look.

thanks

I heard these tires aren't that great. You should check out the Hankook V12s

They are good for daily driving... but if you are an aggressive driver or track your car- I don't recommend them.

I have both tires, each set on a different set of wheels. I prefer the Vredestein, driving at 150 MPH is soooo smooth compared to the same speed on the V12s. Cornering is much better, but this might be due to the lower profile on the Vredestein.

I'm planning on getting them in 245/275 next go around. Those that have them say they are quite good. They are all over the M3 forum and those guys love them. Do some more searching, there are more threads on them here.

These are the tires I am having put on my new wheels next week. I'll post pics after the install.

hblexus07 - what OE or tires are you on right now? if you have OE tires, i'd be interested in your assessment of how the vred's compare after you run them in a bit.

i've been happy with the vredesteins (225 / 255 stock sizes) but purchased the car with them; both wet dry traction have been good. no discernible road noise either.

I have the OEM, 225, and 255 now. I will post my opinion when I get some miles on Vred's.

I have different sizes so my price was higher. I'm rolling on 245/30/20 and 285/25/20.
