Yes, so on the power side, there are def gains. My Gtech runs were the same as before but with a lot more wheels spin. Then my gtech decided it was out of memory so I could not store anymore runs. I have peak G at a 0.05 G increase over stock. .67G is the most I could get with the intake where .62 was typical with OEairbox plus amsoil dry filter I had before. The other thing is that my MPG is pretty low...probably from doing nothing but full throttle pulls everywhere .

edit: fixed my typo on decimal point of G increase..

Thanks for the info, Fig.......We all look forward to hearing about the dyno runs on the 17th. It sounds very promising.

Still feels strong. The mileage is not stellar even on the fresh tank and being mellow I can only manage 22 mpg vs the 26-28 I could get before. Mostly hwy miles. I should have a long drive tomorrow about 200 miles to see if I can get it back.

^^^^I noticed no changes in mpg after my install. With mixed driving I get between 22 and 24 MPG. Note - I do not use the dash calculator, I calculate my MPG with a calculator while still at the gas station. I use the trip meter, and reset when I fill up.

However, the slightly added roar at part throttle gives me the urge to punch it, but I must resist As I have said, my Takeda is going nowhere. I luv it

So far I have to agree, the Takeda is staying on for a while unless Fig shows us numbers that show no gains

I got a hunch that the Takeda is 'the' one, Mike.

Would love to hear more first hand results from you guys tho.

^I don't know about how Figs feels regarding the sound but personally, I didn't notice much a difference over the Joe Z. The Takeda is slightly deeper sounding and might be slightly louder than the Joe Z but nothing extreme or overwhelming by any means

^ Thanks Mike. I swapped out my AFE (oiled) filter in favor of the stock filter, which surprising reduced the loudness significantly. I'll probably grab a AFE DryS filter to try it out. My wife was complaining bitterly about how loud the car was.

Itching to see the data from Figs... (but unsure about the upgrade as a DD)

Sound wise, its only very slight if any louder. I am going to prep the Injen for install tomorrow so that I can be ready for dyno day. My hunch is that the takeda and injen will produce similar results with different curve shapes, but that is why we test, to see the real results

I had the chance to take on a porsche turbo today....the F is still not fast enough for that thing

yes, but most likely after the dyno. As I want to leave things intact for now.
