Ok, first off, I didn't really pay too much attention to the IS-f before....but whoa! I am impressed.
This is the one circumstance where I can say that Lexus has done everything it can to meet the Germans head on. I really like almost everything about it. It really feels and looks like it is worth 80k and not the 68k MSRP
Couple things:
Can anyone confirm if the four tail exhausts are actually operational? I heard that the top two are cosmetic?
Is there caron fibre on the exterior?
Any alluminum in the chassis like the Audi A8?

I might be wrong but I think I read a couple of years ago that not only the hood was aluminum, but also de trunk and fenders. About the exhaust tips, are you for real? I can't believe someone with over 2,000 posts is asking that question in this forum... yes, they're operational as well as the vents on the front fenders.

I am sure they had a lot to say about the new improvements made to the 7 series...
To ALL:
The Exhaust tips are already connected to the Mufflers.
What you have on the bumper is called an Exhaust Diffuser...

Negative....
A Strong Foundation
Suspension engineers will tell you that a stiff body is a necessity for superior handling in any car, especially one with extremely high performance. So Lexus starting by endowing the IS F with a highly rigid body structure loaded with high-strength steel and strategic bracing. This provides the perfect platform for the carefully-tuned suspension and steering systems to work just as their designers intended.
Here are my results...
Aluminum Hood, Aluminum Brembo Brake Calipers, Aluminum Engine Block & Heads and 19" Forged Aluminum Alloy Wheels
I am sure they are more smaller Aluminum parts found through out the IS-F
, but above are the major parts.......
