Just a few questions...I know there was a DIY floating around but I couldn't locate it. Will this work with an ipod nano. I appreciate the help!

 

Here's what it should work for:

Compatible iPOD Models: iPOD mini, iPOD 4th & 5th generation, iPOD nano 1st, 2nd, & 3rd generation, iPOD touch, and iPHONE.

 

just look for teh diy in the 2is forum on how to take apart the dash, it's simple

it will work with nano

on the 2is i usually put the unit right by the side of the shifter box

 

i found this online, I did it myself
didnt take the air bag off, just took out the clip in shelf in the glove box and there was room for a drill

 

this sucks I couldn't get the vents open so I just left it. I must have cursed lexus a good fifty times.

 

that's the single trickiest part of the whole install, you really need to know what you do and get the tabs down and click. otherwise you can easily break them

i have worked on at least 3 2is where the owners tried to diy and broke the clips. pita afterward for me to pull it out

I bought one of the OEM Ipod kits for my RX350. I have a Mark Levison Navigation. It worked with the Nano. But the iPhone didnt.

 

doesn't work with iphone? that sux...

 

Just installed my I-Pod integration kit. Yay!

 

does this ipod interface work on a 07 is350? sewll lexus only show it will only work for 08 and up
