None of the options on the screen worked Joe, I tried them all.

Saturday morning I'll be fixing the nav overide and leaving everything as OEM. I'll try the screen and diagnostics one more time, if that doesn't help I'll unplug the main harness and try again, if the touchscreen still doesn't respond then I'll take the car that same day to the dealer. Wish me luck guys!

It really sounds like the touchscreen is damaged and has stuck at one location.

Thanks infinus and n0th1ng for your help, at least I know now that the diagnostic was OK except for the touchscreen.

Mine showed chk on audio. Usually it's because the CD/DVD play has an issue reading a disc.

I hit LAN Monitor on mine and saw a whole lot of CHK buttons. Not encouraging at all. I'll be looking up the codes this weekend when I have some time.

The Nav override module throws a bunch of codes too....

I just clear them out when I see them.

Mine is the same but I dont have any CDs or DVDs in my car at all other than the nav dvd I only use my ipod so I'd be curious to see what all the codes mean too. The clear code button did nothing.

You have to hold the clear code button for a full five seconds to actually clear the codes.

I know both ways. I also know how to get to the secret sub menus once in the service mode.

The stalk method will work when the touchscreen is not working, that's why I suggested it on the off chance the alternate mode would release the stranglehold on the touchscreen. Sad it didn't help.

I removed the nav overide and the problem remains the same. I moved the appointment at the dealer to Monday, I'll post the results.
