Yes, this part is Lexus part number 86111-53060. It's around $5k all by itself. Best bet for a "cheap" replacement is junkyard, but no guarantees it will last any longer or even work for that matter.

This is quite unnerving and makes the 100k mile extended warranty sound like a better deal every day.

Coming on on 50k miles on the 2008 ISF, and currently considering the extended warranty.

Since the touchscreen failed once, it most likely will fail in the future once out of the factory warranty.

1) Does anyone know of companies/people that repair NAV screens such as this issue?
2) Does the wiring for a Non-ML/non-NAV console fit the ISF's with the NAV/ML console?

I don't use the NAV at all, and only need the AC/radio functions. Thanks for anyone's input.

I'm having the same problem with my '08 ISF. Am i understanding correctly that a screen replacement fixed the problem? Also, after a trip to the ATL dealer, was told the entire nav unit must be replaced. "Lexus doesn't replace just the screen" They want to hit me with an entire nav unit at $3100! Any advice on finding the screenn only? Ebay has them but will it perform as OEM?
Thanks!!
