Faulty rev needle

It looks like my IS-F is getting electrical problems, first it was (or actually is) the touchscreen issue, now it's my rev needle. Is this normal? I don't recall seeing this until last month, can anyone please confirm that my needle is faulty? You can clearly see a darker spot, like that section is not being on. The first picture is daylight, the other two are at night.

Never seen that before Juanca, interesting stuff! Did you run the diagnostic check for the touch screen or are you going to bring it in today? Have them replace the LED's for you

The orange ring is reflection from the street lights at night, I didn't see it until I downloaded the pictures from my phone. It looks kind of cool if we have that orange ring around the whole gauges, or maybe if it lights up at red line like in the E46 M3.
I've been doing the diagnostic check at lunch time, I'll post the results back in the other thread.
The only mod I've done that involves electrical parts is the nav overide, and it was done almost 2 years ago without having any problem. Neither my touchscreen problem nor this needle issue are caused by the nav overide... or at least that's what I think. The stereo, nav, and A/C work, the problem is the damn touchscreen that doesn't respond. The nav is spot on, it shows my location accurately. I'll be taking the car in this weekend for the rev needle and screen, I have to remove the nav overide though.
I have one more problem, my tranny. I'll be creating a new thread for this issue, pretty weird problem!
