Default New mirror teaser shot

What's this?

Is this an IS-F with oem signal mirrors or an '09+ ISx50 with an F-badge?

...you decide!

Looks like an F with ISx50 mirrors.... Great Idea!

I hate those mirrors. It's a lot of wiring to get those mirrors to work. I had my 09 mirrors put on a 2008.

Do they autofold, auto dim, and have puddle lights also? Do they come painted? I've been pondering either getting that mirror or buy the euro/jap spec side markers.

Wow, do the stock ISx50 mirrors do all that?

Good questions.

So what is the point to swapping mirrors? That cool turn signal?

yeah to get the turn signal. They didn't put side markers/blinkers on this car, but then failed to give us mirrors with side blinkers.

it wouldve been ideal to have the side markers on the fender for the F, but i wouldve settled for the side turn signals on the mirrors as stock, not as an accessory. i was so thrilled that lexus finally offered a side mirror look for the ISx50, but to have it retrofitted onto an F would require some additional wires. not much of a problem, but i wish it came standard to begin with

Auto dim and puddle lights - yes, depending on package.

Auto-fold is not a USDM option...

haha yeah it was a lot of work getting these on, much more than I anticipated. It took some particularly genius thinking by my buddy who helped me install to get it working properly.

It does everything my original mirrors did: Autodim, heat, etc... Puddle lights are still there (now with super-bright v-led bulbs!) No autofold because they're USDM mirrors. I bought them both brand new in box, factory painted. (And no, I didn't pay anywhere near retail for them. )

I wish I can take better pictures but the car's dirty as heck and can't wash cus it's raining everyday lately... so just the teaser pics for now. Better pics coming soon! But imo it really adds to the look of the car, far more than I expected it would. And the chrome bit goes well with the polished "blades" of my wheels.

Here's another teaserish pic:

Yeah someone down here in SoCal had a local Lexus dealer do that to their 08 ISF right when the 09' ISx50 rolled out late in 2008. I wish our F's had this as a factory option.
