Default aftermarket seats-supportive

I love my IsF. The biggest disappointment would be the lack of support in the seats. Under hard cornering, I feel like I am sliding out, or at least breaking the bolsters; particularly the lower portion of the seat. Has anyone put replacement seats, or a driver's seat in the car. I don't do track days, yet. Looking for street performance. Prefer not to mod the seat belts.

Thanks!

??? These are the best supportive seats I've ever seen in a production vehicle not specifically intended for track duty. You need better bolsters for street driving? Wow. I have no idea what you're expecting from a seat for street use, when these seats work just fine for me at the track. They're far better than the stock seats in an Elise or M3, both of which I've experienced at the track with very fast drivers.

What do you weigh?

i truly agree with hahahaf and lobuxracer. love the F seats. gives great support and doesnt feel less than secure when cornering. very plush yet firm where it needs to be IMO.

+1 on that, it's one of the first things people comment on when they get in my car. Even my wife thinks so, and she's driven in cars with Recaro SPG's and Sparco's.

Same here and I have GTR seat on my Nissan.

Unless your dimensions are way larger or smaller than the norm.

+1 also. The only way that these seats won't hug you is if you are 5'1, 90lbs?

Never heard of anyone complaining about the seats. They are perfect to me. Holds you in during spirited driving, yet comfy enough for long trips.

Ok. I am 6 and 185. I have a 9000 aero as well which has seTs I find more supportive. The side bolsters seem to have little support to my legs under hard cornering. They are comfortable-no doubt. I find 911 sport seats or Elise seAts hold me in better. Just asking guys...love the car

I found the stock Elise seats had me bouncing shoulder to shoulder with the driver when I rode right seat at Roebling Road even with the belts pulled full tight. I was not impressed at all with them, and had it been my car I would have been putting better seats in it right away.

I'm having a hard time understanding how you'd find this a problem on the street after having the car at Carolina Motorsports Park for a couple of weekends and not having any issues at all. I'm 6'2", 230 lbs though. Have you really worked all the adjustments?
