Default 20 Inch Wheel - Offset Question...

I am looking at some 20's for the ISF and want to know what the ideal sizes and offsets are.

1. I do want them tucked in "SLIGHTLY" (just a hair) so that rolling the rear fender gives plenty of room and there are no issues up front.

2. I HATE when the tire has to stretch over the wheel.

I plan to drop using Tein's...

20x8.5f +31mm with 235/35/20
20x10r +44mm with 265/30/20

If you want flush to the fenders 20x8.5 +20 for the front and 20x10 +37 for the rear.

anson - what color is your car? Is it white as well? What sizes/offsets do you have?

crazy - do you have any profile pics of these offsets? I guess if I want 10mm of room I should go with 30f and 47r

Peter, I have a blue IS-F. My friend, Lucius, has the white IS-F If I'm not mistaken, I have +35 up front, +42 at the back.

+47 in the rear wouldn't even require you to roll the rears because the wheels would be sunken in, especially on a 20 X 10 rim and a 265 rear tire.

Ultimately to get more tire on the car you'd want to run off sets like anson has on his car with a 20 X 9 up front and a 20 X 10.5 in the rear. This would allow you to do a 245 tire up front with either a 275 (stretched) or 285 rear tire.

I have 2 sets of wheels +42 rears and I have a set of rears with +48. You will Have to pull and roll fender if you plan on going +42 20"x10.5 wheels with 265 or 278. You will have very mild rub with the +48
