When I was shopping for wheels for my IS-F I used the ISx50 as a reference point...that was a mistake. Since the stock ride height of the ISx50 is significantly heigher than the stock IS-F height and they have essentially the same camber settings at the stock heights - when dropped, the ISx50 will have much more negative camber than and IS-F at the same ride height. Also JoeZ had mentioned that the rear axles on the IS-F are 1/4" longer. Therefore, the ISx50s can get away with a more agressive wheel fitament than an IS-F.

For my first set of aftermarket wheels on my IS-F, I went with a 19x10.5" wheel with +22 offset and 265/30/19 tire in the rear. The tread of tire rubbed against the fender lip - the side wall was completely outside of the car. I brought the car to a couple of body shops to have the fenders rolled or even pulled - in the end, the conclusion was that I'd need to pull the rear quarters out at least 1" for the wheel and tire to clear the rear quarter. I thought about just going widebody but in the end didn't think it was worthwhile to do paintwork on a car whose paint was still virgin...so I just ended up getting a new set of rear wheels (cost more than the body shop estimate for the body work, haha).

For the fronts, the IS-F should be able to run something more aggressive than an ISx50 can run since the fenders of the IS-F are wider.

For reference, here is a 19x10.5 +22mm offset wheel with 265/30/19 tire on the back of an IS-F:

I don't know why I even attempted to drive with those on, haha.

Im actually trying to sell my Volks for a set that will fit my IS-F. People are throwing +22 offset volks at me left and right...

Gah! Looking at this picture makes me want to keep the wheels! I will probably get mag blue volks in the correct is-f offset. Its my favorite all-time wheel.
Love your Z man... not to turn this into a Z thread, but here was mine. Same specs are your mag blues.

start digging up s2k wheels fitments, aggressive on an s2k would defiently play into hear, although most dont run bigger than 18's, but 19's do pop up in that fitment

LOL I'm super calm, what do I care if someone wants to "ghetto-rize" their car, not my money be my guest!

The IS-F/M3/AMG cars are not s2000, 350z, G35's or other cars that are meant for crazy offsets. I was following an older Q45 the other day with rubber bands stretched on rims that were probably running 20 degrees negative camber ~ so stupid. Looked like he was going to crash any minute, those are not only dumb looking but an accident waiting to happen.

I agree with s4...there is nothing worse than a car with the offsets like the one posted in post 16. Plain nasty and rice...

I think the Show car with the low offset looks great... but for a DD... just the right/ semi flush offset cars are good.

I wont be insanely hellaflush and cambered, but I like to push it a little.

Its just a daily driver. My rule of thumb is.. find a set up I like, subtract 5-10mm from the offset they use.
