something i think most ISF owners would appreciate...
I dont know if you folks agree but I think and hopefully SOME manufacturer can provide us a set of SOLID steering rack bushings for the IS-F...i have test driven is250, is350, and isf and ALL of them have that similar problem...IMO there is just too much play in the steering wheel...and the steering and feel imo is what makes the m3 superior over the IS-F...I am saying this and I am a IS-F owner myself...in terms of reliability..."knock on wood" but i cannot ask for more and I would still choose the IS-F over the m3 even tho I will admit the driving feel is not the same...
I have around 17k mileage and the steering play is noticeable...
I think a change of ALL bushings and most importantly the STEERING RACK BUSHING should be the first mod of ALL lexus that comes out of the dealership.

i know he has them for is300 but i dont think he has them for isf? anyway once they are out...i would recommend EVERY isf owner to get one...after all i am sure the reason you folks bought an F was for its performance...and seriously...the steering is REALLY lacking performance...

I think it sounds like a good mod, just strange that you pinpointed the steering as being better on the m3, as I test drove both and actually liked the ISF a tad more. I thought the M3 felt more soft and remote than the ISF actually. Felt almost like the lexus engineers went out of the way to make the ISF steering overly heavy at certain points, where the M3 got a bit more luxurious...
M3 is way soft at low speeds, disconnected as hell compared to the last gen, I was surprised. The thickness is a personal thing, I prefer thinner rather than a meaty wheel. But Ive only test driven one e92 m3, so maybe I need more time.

Street driving or track driving? I've not noticed any slop on the track (or the street, but maybe I just don't know any better.) I wasn't expecting kart precision, but it's surely a lot better than my Supra.
