^^^ Mine hook up as good as the stock Bridgestone did, and mine are 20"s, so it's great!

They seem to hook up well now that they are broken in a bit at 100 miles. My VDIM light doesn't flash nearly as often (indicating loss of traction). Probably a combination of new rubber and 20mm of added cross section.

It rained here yesterday too, they seem to do very well in the rain.

I've heard good things about these tires too and wouldn't mind giving them a try. The guys over at the Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT-8 forum swear by them, so they've been time-and-track-tested on a 5,000lb SUV that packs one hell of a launch, with no issues so far.

Well i'm due for Tires after 15k miles (i guess i'm too rough on these tires) i was looking at going back to the PS2 $1300 with a $70 rebate, however i found this thread and was curious how these perform in dry weather?

I live in Phoenix, so rain isn't really an issue. It appears these tires are highly praised across the different forums, but nobody goes into detail on how they perform in the heat/dry areas.

Any thoughts or comments will be greatly appreciated.

How do these compare to the Nitto INVO's? The INVO's grip well, but have some nasty sidewall flex if you don't inflate them to around 40psi. Do the vredesteins have a more stable/stiffer sidewall? Do they handle like the stock bridgestones?

I had them on my G35 here in phoenix they seemed to handle the heat ok when we would go on our drives. When it comes time to pick up a new set of tires I will get the vredesteins.

The Vredesteins' sidewall is as stiff (or even stiffer) as the stock Bridgestones, they allow quick lane switching and cornering at high speed without a problem. I feel more confident going fast with the Vredesteins than with the Bridgestone. Invo's sidewall is too soft, even at 40 PSI.

Thanks for the feedback everyone. I think i might take the plunge. I do like how the PS2 handle the road especially on highway 93 I just want to make sure i'm not loosing any handling ability, not that i'm a professional driver i probably wouldn't even notice the difference.

My car came with these tires. I have 20's all around. I love em. Now that I know I can get em for 800 I wont try to hit a nail on purpose and use my road hazard insurance....or will I.

So here is my update. 1500 miles in and I am really happy with them. They are quite, smooth, and handle very well. I have not felt sidewall flex in hard cornering (freeway on ramps) and the tires are very stable. I have not tracked them so I cannot comment on how they stand up to extended periods of heat/flogging, etc. For a spirited street tire that I drive every day I am very happy and saved a significant amount of money over the PS2s that were previously on the car. Up sizing the tires has done a tremendous job of dialing out the understeer as well as improving straight line traction with more rubber out back. I have experienced no down side from leaving the PS2s.

The first 300 miles they felt squishy and uncertain but I blame that on the mold release material that they come with when they are new.
