Glad you like it. Personally I think blacking out or tinting tail lights makes a car look cheap. Lights are an integral part of a car's exterior looks, and trying to hide them just doesn't look right.

I had mine painted. Upside with painting is that it won't peel off...downside is that it won't peel off.
And as far as "contrast" or "makes it look cheap", who said big red plastic pieces looks good? Would you paint your grille red? That wouldn't look good. Red plastic tail lights don't look good, youre just used to seeing them.
