Yeah that seems to be the consensus overall.....I don't think id be happy with the car not having the nav. and everything else that comes with it. Appreciate the advice fellas. I think I am just gonna keep looking for one with NAV.

The nav is cool, and back-up camera is a plus. For a good deal, I would purchase the car without the nav. Add a high quality headunit with back-up camera, bluetooth, and nav. You'll have much better sound than what the factory head unit can offer.
I am somewhat an audiophile. After integrating 2 JL amps to the stock system with the Rockford 3sixty.2, I think I hit a plateau. My system plays louder and cleaner than stock, but due to the factory nav/headunit, it will never sound the way i want it and will never unleash the potential of the components I have. (Focal krx2's off a JL 300/4 and JL HD750 for 10w7). Maybe JBL's new MS-8 processor would help. That's my next near future mod.
Lexus did a great job making the factory system sound good. If you could live with how it sounds, perhaps with an addition of a subwoofer, I would get an IS-F with the nav. It just wasnt good enough for me. Even after installation of high end (to me) products, the sound is still limited. I want to change my headunit.

I wouldn't either. Have to remember if you ever decide to sell the car, people are going to more interested in it if it has the nav. It is becoming such a popular item, I was at Sacramento Lexus a couple weeks back and the sales guy could count on one hand how many cars they had that didn't have nav on it. It just isn't worth saving the couple grand when you lose out on everything else it gives. I'd get it with.
