i am glad to see the digital speedo because i have a hard time reading the blue needles with my sunglasses on. other than that, i don't see the layout as an improvement. the crowded cluster of fuel gauge, engine temp and transmission temp is a bit hard to read.
having said that, when it's in full color, the panel could look more attractive or easier to read.

the digital speedo is nice, i think it's going to look great. no way it's anything like lfa, that display alone would jack up the price of the car noticeably

it does look rather crowded. the digital speedometer is a nice touch, but the 08-10 had a much cleaner look. plus, i personally dont like how the gear selection is offset on the right, whereas in the original, it was centered. ive always liked seeing the F logo centrally placed on the gauge cluster.

Cant say I'm a fan, every car I've ever driven has has the speedometer on the left and the tach on the right, if its on the "wrong side" it bugs the crap out of me. Also that's a very annoying place to put the odometer why the hell is it in the middle of the display? Digital fuel gauges suck too imo.

200+ mph speedo is nice and so is the rev light, I wonder if the beep will still be there or just a light?

It's not cluttered IMHO. But I miss the volt meter, and I have always missed the oil pressure gauge. Again, IMHO, electronic gauges work for those displays. Overall, I like it a lot

I got used to the tach being large and centered, with the speedo taking up less real estate to the right, from my other car. I actually prefer it that way, especially when shifting (as it relates to the F).

Agreed on the digital fuel gauge. I've never been a fan.

I'm glad I waited. After watching Lexus and other manufacturers rivise/add new stuff to their cars from 1 year to another, this was worth the wait. Finally a center Tach, that's in your face, hopefully it'll light up red when you hit redline

I wonder what could be next 3 LED lights in the 12 o' clock position on the steering wheel ( 2012)

The new gauge pack reminds me of Italian Sports cars. I'd have to see it in person to really 'gauge' it.

I've found in my last Porsche Boxster S that I would use the digital speedo readout all the time (versus the analog dial).

So no one else thinks the decision to remove AFS is bad? ... It makes a huge difference at night imo ....

i have not found the AFS to be useful. either i am too old to appreciated the difference or i turn faster than the AFS.

afs is ok. i am sure it helps but personally i don't find it particularly useful. more of a cool factor to me. but i agree, i don't see the point of removing it

It helps mostly on the twisty roads with no lights at night I love it.
