It is really fun toying/playing with exotic supercars. There is such satisfaction when you can wheelie away from cars that cost several hundred thousand dollars!

You've obviously never run into a fast Supra. They kill turbo Busas.

Well that's the issue...I think that these companies are really trying to develop their names..especially when it comes to speed. Just like you, when I get spanked too much...I hop in my camaro.....BIKES including r1's....HAH

You would need 800+ to beat not kill a STOCK busa, but if you run both unlimited, I don't think ANY street car will have a chance. Do you know of any Streetable Supra that can run 272 mph in one mile?

Marco's street racer Supra ran 8's with over 1500 hp. In daily driver trim it looked stock with a lowering kit. There is an Atlanta local Supra running 8's and it's a daily driver. Yes, they certainly can beat a Busa, or anything else on two wheels short of a Top Fuel bike which is also not streetable.

It takes 1500hp for the Supra to run in the 8s and the new BMW1000RR (Stock engine) with just an extended swing arm runs 8.49 @ 158mph. Again, do you know of ANY street car that can run 272mph in one mile?

This article is wrong. Hyundai stated themselves the Tau V-8 wont' fit in the coupe.

I've seen it with my own eyes and couldn't believe it. It really puts what you think is "fast" into perspective.

Weight is a huge factor try getting a 3,000lb car to move is a lot harder than a bike......A 60mph roll will be fair.

I don't really give a **** if the Genesis or your bike or anyone else's is faster.

My Nissan, though I never tried it, will at the very least run, if not spank, my F.

I do not think for an iota of a second that it is the better car. Grown ups already know that speed is not be all of what is a better car. Only Kids think that way.

This thread is now completely off topic and has nothing to do with the IS-F.

If you wish to continue the discussion about the new Hyundai motor in the car chat forum, I've linked the active thread below:
