Default ISF vs Hyundai Genesis

You guys better be careful soon when pulling up next to a Genesis, you might get spanked! lol

Holy crap. Let the horsepower wars begin (again).

Also, by your title I thought you were talking about the Genesis 4-door sedan and not the coupe.

In before the "it's still a hyundai" comments...............

Great news on Hyundai's part. I was hoping they would put that V8 in the coupe....

Mad props to Hyundai, should be a great performer..

-- To me tho it's all about the whole package, not so much about speed.

Nothing like some good competition to heat things up. Props to Hyundai if they do this!

IIRC, Hyundai said that the Tau V8 would not ever fit in the Genesis coupe.

Genesis already weighs 3500 lbs. Let's see how it makes out with that V8.

its good to see hyundai branching. its good competition for the other car makers out there. but in the end, i think many customers are choosing cars based on name. theres a status that comes with owning and driving a particular model, but for it to expand their engine base to a v8 makes them no slouch.

I'd be more worried about the Mustangs. I bet there is far more aftermarket support for cheap parts maximizing their straight-line potential. The hp wars are crazy!

If we were concerned mostly with dragging the car, then we wouldn't have gotten the F. There's a reason why you rarely see cheap-hp vs. IS-F threads around here.

Hyundai cars are really catching up to luxury segment. If I were in market for a new car I wouldn't hesitate to get Genesis Coupe.

Hyundai is really stepping it up.. The coupe beat out the V6 mustang, V6 charger and V6 camaro in Motor Trend... Really impressive..
