I kind of wish I got into an ISF when I gave up my 135i due to fuel pump bug. Instead I went with the is350 for practicality reasons. My next will probably be the new light weight Cayman RS or GTR, BMW just don't entice me as much as before. Terrific sports-luxo car and step up above Lexus in performance but I am willing to sacrifice performance for reliability.
Embarrassment of cranking forever in public in your brand new BMW was least of my concern. If the Lexus holds up I am planning on keeping it as a DD and get something edgier as my weekend car. BMW may build great sports-luxo car but it can never beat a purebred, single focused sports car. M3 GTS is the single closest thing to one and unfortunately it will never come to states and for that price tag, there are many competitors to choose from.
I am a car guy, not a brand *****.

Hey Rob!
Man it's been a tough 2011 for me as I've been sick nearly the whole time. Don't remember if I told you I bought an RX out of Dallas or not. GT-R's been asleep in the garage. We do need to gets some shots of the cars together. I'll see if I can load the ones from the Nov. meet.

Thanks for posting those pics. Brad's GT-R is a super rare color and really cool. We need to get a proper shoot done when the weather clears up for sure. Hopefully by then, my Swift lowering springs will have made it to me and will be installed on my GT-R.

i don't really get y people try and compare a sedan to a 2 door it so unfair...lol the sedan is a lot heavier...at least if u wanna compare the isf do it with another sedan..then it would be more of a better match its like compareing a heavy weight fighter to a light weight one

here, i did it for you (an example)
e90 m3
3726 lbs
e92 m3
3704 lbs
e90 335
3593 (3605) lbs
e92 335
3560 (3582) lbs
just because the sedan has 2 more doors doesn't mean it's a lot heavier.
