Default latest pics of my grill

I had the annual toy/lex meet a few weeks ago and repainted and reform my grill on the planishing hammer and english wheel to add more curvature. Also added my FIGS F logo and rubber mesh surround . At some point I will get this designed for production if people are interested.

Looks good but a few things...

1. The bottom edge of that mesh looks unfinished.
2. Can we get it without your logo? It looks like an upside down F
3. Estimated price?

I like this much better than the chicken-wire style grill that I have now!

Yeah the car is daily driven so rocks are unavoidable here.

The logo is all about negative space, so the F is in the backdrop Of course I can consider leaving it out. BTW I have had this type of logo for 2 years before the IS-F came out

price is still in the air, but I would offer several versions
flat
formed but unpainted
and formed and powdercoated black

the flat version I estimate to be around $50, the rest would be additional of course.
Just have not had time to digitze it, this one was hand plasma cut from a template I made.

Mesh is also variable, could be hex, could be diamond, could be custom.

why not match the mesh close to stock or match the lower grill? it looks too thin to where you can see the paint behind the grill... but i'm interested if you can leave the logo out.

Figs, forget the grills!!!! Work on the camber kits for the isx50

I like that look, but like someone stated, the bottom looks a bit rough and doesn't line up perfectly. The grill itself looks a little wavy in some spots. If you perfected it with that curvature, I think it would look great.

Honestly that is why I have not made this product. I have had my head down trying to get other things done and cosmetic items have never been great for production because there is so much variance. The curve is actually really smooth, not so much with my rattle can paint job. I would probably put a border around the edge to make it a better integration and mask off the bumper area. Originally I had started a mold from the stock insert, but my carbon guy has since gone under and I cannot get my mold finished. Such is life.

I agree. This is a simple DIY for most people on here anyways.

Fig i like the material you used. If you used the proper F symbol it would look great. Here is a pic of my DIY grill

Would love to have something like this once the bottom portion is cleaned up.

All I can find at home depot is 1/4" hole mesh. I think this or 1/8" mesh would be best
