No tuning was done (or is capable of being done), if I recall correctly.

Help me out here. Is this beauty available or is it a custom? Might be willing to let go of my Neiman Marcus with 11,000 miles on it.

Really... I would like to see a A/F and dyno sheet. Also, what else did they need to do to get to that hp. Injectors, fuel pump, lbs of boost, ext

do some research everyone knows there was no tuning done on the car even though artisan said there was. The turbo is only running wastegate pressure and had a water injection kit running on top of it to try and keep it safe.

^^^ The reason is because we've been talking about this car since 2009 when it was first conceived. For people who have been on the forum for awhile, this is old news and has been discussed to death already.

Use Search to find the existing threads. Plenty of info about the Artisan ISF (and the ensuing collapse of Turbochargers.com) is included.

I've seen threads about artisan and the poor quality of their system but I've never come across any performance numbers on any of the turbocharged cars.

Holy crap...625hp @ 6spi? on everything Stock? Holy crap. Now how easy would it be for Lexus to slap a super charger on this motor for 550hp and put it in the GS-F?!?!?!?!

I thought fox tucked tail and took off? Last I heard, he was supposed to be releasing a supercharger kit for the 350 platform.....but that didnt happen.

I think you meant conceived in 2008.....

Since this is acutally a 2008 IS-F which debuted @ SEMA 2008, as 1 of the 4 Lexus Project cars built for the Lexus USA booth... by various companies under contract in that time period.

Some pics of the 2008 SEMA IS-F's from the Lexus booth....

Had it at New Jersey Motorsports last year at a Lexus event. A race car driver hopped behind the wheel and beat the **** out of it on the track. No numbers to get as it wasn't something that could be timed. Then, I hoped in a stock IS F and saw a big difference in handling and power, that's for sure.

Car has 13,834 miles on it now and just drove to NJ for HIN/NOPI. It's a street car, NOT a show car. I drive that ****, beat the **** out of it, and the tranny loves ever minute of it.

So the point is, I use it HARD my friend..haha. Cars are meant to drive, not to sit in the garage doing nothing.

AEM EMS provides the tuning hard wired in. This is the only unit to crap the ECU at this time. Tried Unichip and that didn't work at all really.
